Lance Deal’s THUNDERDOME - Introducing a unique discus and weight cage designed by four-time Olympian and silver medalist, Lance Deal:
  • Six meter height far exceeds NCAA, USATF and IAAF guidelines
  • Quickly transportable by easily lifting it onto five attached wheels for rolling to a new location for storage, or to catch a better discus wind
  • Designed to sit free-standing around your discus or weight ring—no extra bulky weights, water tanks or expensive concrete footings necessary (may be anchored if you choose to do so)
  • Constructed of 2.5" schedule 40 #6063 aluminum pipe; 1.5" schedule 40 #6063 aluminum pipe with mild steel used in manufacture of functional lifting parts

The Thunderdome Discus Cage can be customized by powder-coating its steel “knuckles” and other steel parts in your choice of a range of school colors.

Wheeled or anchored, the entire structure of the Thunderdome is designed to fold down below sightlines, or for more compact storage.

Due to the dimensions of this product, accurate shipping cost is hard to be automatically calculated. Please request a quote or call 800-697-2999 to purchase.

NOTE: Lance Earl Deal is a former American athlete who won a silver medal in the hammer throw in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He also competed in the 1988, 1992, and 2000 Summer Olympics.
