Dear On Track Friend: Greetings! I hope 1997 finds you healthy, happy and ready to launch into another field and track season. I am especially proud to announce that this year I have set a personal goal of making On Track even more accessible to and interactive with our friends and those we would like to include in our circle. First, I will be out in the field more, meeting one-on-one with as many athletes, coaches and athletic directors as possible, sharing the background and outstanding products that On Track has to offer. I will be increasing my attendance at field and track clinics, summits and conventions where people just like you gather to share information about the sport that means so much to us. Please look for me at these events and feel free to introduce yourself. I look forward to meeting you. Secondly, and very exciting for me, On Track is now on line. Yes, thats right, we are now on the World Wide Web at ontrackandfield.com, where you will soon find announcements of product specials and news about the constantly changing rules and technology affecting our sport. The third and probably most important part of my plan to bring myself and my staff closer to you is our new e-mail address sales@ontrackandfield.com. Since this is our first foray onto the information superhighway, I ask you for your understanding as we get the hang of working on the Internet. I encourage you to use our e-mail address to let me know if there are any items that you would like to see carry, even if that means that we may have to create something that has yet to be invented to meet your needs. Also, if you happen to come across news of new coaches or athletic directors in your area, please e-mail us at On Track. Wed like to know whos new out there, and how we can be of service to them. Our motto Excellence Through Experience is a testament to what makes On Track different. This and our commitment to communication with a sharp focus on innovation to meet your needs combine to give you the competitive edge youre looking for. My best to you this season and I hope we have the opportunity to meet this year, in the field. Sincerely, Ron Morris |

A quick fill up of gas from a local farmer. This was often the only way to get gas during our tour of meets in Finland in the early 60s. Risto and Timo oversee the operation while Ron gets lunch from a nearby apple tree. |
