THE CONNOLLY HAMMER TRAINER 3 Introduced here in 2006, we can confidently proclaim this “OT exclusive” a hit. Developed by THE name in U.S. hammer throwing since the 1950s -Olympic Gold Medalist Harold Connolly - this training hammer comes with lead shot that can be added or removed for progressive training. Now includes two “wires”made of durable nylon cord—one in a regulation 29" size, and one in a 26" length. Since the CHT3’s ball is larger than that of a hammer, it creates slight wind resistance, allowing the thrower to see, feel and learn very quickly the critical throwing positions, while the exaggerated size and bright color allows the coach to easily monitor the ball’s movements.
